What is Freedom Fitness Boot Camp?
Freedom Fitness Boot Camp Adventures is a four week,"Total Body Conditioning" outdoor fitness program that offers Fitness Instruction, Motivational Training, Nutritional Programs, Goal setting, Personal Training/Group Fitness, all packed with fun and energizing activities designed to help you reach your fitness goals. Whether you want to shed the extra pounds, reach any personal goals, or just get fit before that special occasion, we can help.
What makes your Boot Camp so different? Why should I participate?
Great questions. First, our Freedom Fitness Boot Camp Adventure is locally operated and are 100% Committed to Your Success. So, what does that mean to you? We set up all of our energy and devotion to our Clients, unlike other camps that use basic trainers to fill up their many camps. Our Nationally and Internationally Certified, Insured, and Educated Personal training and Group Fitness Specialists are devoted to training YOU and knobody else. In other words, we never hire average instructors that are either self-certified or from a backalley certifying body. We utilize the highest standards of training, using scientific and advanced scientific training principles in a very fun and motivating team environment. The end product is a lot of fun while working out, a well-designed program, and long-lasting results.
At Freedom Fitness Boot Camp, our trainer will motivate and inspire you to get results without being pushy. We understand that every person is different, so we motivate you to success, rather than shoving you there. Every exercise and program is designed to motivate campers from the beginners to the advanced. This is done by giving several modifications for every exercise. Our motto is to motivate and inspire you to fitness, health, and wellness. This is not a drill sergeant's Boot Camp, and we will never yell at you or push you to do something that you do not want to. We motivate each other, working in synergy to loose weight, shed inches and feel great!
Always remember, you are not paying to train with an average self-certified trainer or student. You are training with a multi-certified, University educated, and internationally certified personal training and group fitness experts at a fraction of the cost. What is a typical day like at Freedom Fitness BC?
Each day is different, designed to keep the muscles always guessing and to help you reach your goals. Freedom Fitness Boot Camp is designed as a total body workout, so most days at camp include cardio training, strength training, and essential core training. Cardio activities can include boxing, cardio circuit courses, obstacle courses, tug-o-war, fitness drills, skipping, step-ups, and jogging or running. You'll notice that all of them have a high- and low-impact option for healthy safe exercises. Resistance training will include dumbbell exercises, body resistance, medicine ball training, resistance bands/tubes, calisthenics-push-ups, pull-ups, lunges, squats, yoga moves and Pilates. Everyday begins with a warm-up and ends with a cool-down stretch to prevent injury and allow proper rest for optimal training results.
What kind of results can I expect in four weeks?
Most campers see a 3-8% reduction in body fat, increased self confidence, Five to Twelve pounds of weight loss, greatly improved posture, and increased energy. Often they see an increase in strength and cardiovascular endurance of the entire body. Overall, campers feel better about themselves, body and mind, leaving a feeling that they are free to take on anything. Simply put: Absolute Freedom!
What if I am not physically fit?
Everybody starts somewhere, right? Whatever fitness level you are at, Freedom Fitness Boot Camp will make sure that you are never left behind. Every exercise provides modifications, from the beginner to the advanced. You work at your own pace and we will only see success if we measure our own goals. Freedom Fitness Boot Camp is designed for us to motivate each other in a group environment. That is why we hand out rewards and free camps to those that inspire others.
Will I be sore after the Boot Camp?
Most people feel a little soreness for the first one to three days. After that, it is in a slight to moderate level. It's part of the process of improvement; your body is telling you that you're improving. After the initial stage, you will love working out, and feel great doing it.
Who attends the Boot Camp?
Honestly, people just like you. Those who need a little push to jumpstart their fitness, nutrition, and wellness program find great success at Freedom Fitness Boot Camp. It is attended by all types of people, and our training specialist makes sure that every boot camper sees results.
How often will we meet?
Participants will meet every Monday through Friday, based on the option you choose. Boot Camp times are (See calendar schedule for detailed information).
What do I need to bring?
You need to bring an exercise mat, hand weights (5 and 8 pounds), towel, running shoes, and drinkable water. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and wear proper fitness apparel for exercise. We Provide all Equipment & Programs
Why do we train outdoors/indoors?
There are many studies showing that training in the outdoors is not only healthier with fresh air, different terrain and obstacles, the ability to burn more calories and shed more fat, and with an ever-changing climate, you always feel free and refreshed. Furthermore, most of our clients love training in the outdoors because they feel that sense of freedom in the open beautiful space that BC offers, and don't worry; there is shelter provided as well for those very cold and rainy days.
Are there any shower facilities to attend after my workout is complete?
Yes, there are many fitness & health facilities that provide showers and change rooms.
Is there a refund policy?
Our four week camps are very popular and usually sell out very quickly. However, if you can not attend camp because of a medical condition or a situation out of your control, you may receive a refund if you cancel before camp start dates. If you notify us after camp has already started, you may receive credit for a future camp. We make every effort to make sure you do not pay for something you did not recieve.
What is available to me after camp is over?
You will receive Final-camp testing and measurements to see the progress you have achieved. However, many of our campers (up to 75%) return for another camp (for up to 35% off of the next camp). Furthermore, you may use our personal training, nutrition, and consultation services as well.
What is the sign-up and registering process like?
Go to our registration page for more information on registering for Boot Camp. During our orientation, we will go through some quick paperwork, payment, and evaluations before the Boot Camp starts; this usually takes about fifteen minutes. Furthermore, you will be introduced to your trainer, have any questions answered, and complete a professional personal assessment. See you at camp!
Will Boot Camp be held in all weather?
Yes, we run no matter what the weather! Training outdoors is not only good for your health and wellness, but you will feel more empowered and exhilarated working out in the elements; and there are covered areas for those really rainy days.
How many people will be attending Boot Camp?
Unlike many other boot camps, Freedom Fitness Boot Camp Adventures has very small class sizes, average of about 15 people per camp. This allows your trainer to give personal attention and feedback to every participant at a fraction of the cost.
Where is Freedom Fitness Boot Camp Adventures located?
We serve the Tri City Area and are located in Coquitlam. One of the nicest places in BC, this is where Hollywood movies have been filmed for its gorgeous scenery, great track, fields, lakes, and trails & Beaches.
Can you personally modify exercises for me if I require?
Yes, our personal training and group fitness experts are trained and educated to specifically tailor individual programs. If you have any back problems, knees, shoulders, neck, any problem or concerns, our trainer will structure different exercise options for you. Everybody will have a fun and safe program, Guaranteed!
How soon will I see results?
Improvements can be seen in the very first week. Using advanced scientific training principles, we will guarantee you the highest quality of training possible. It is not unlikely that people see results of three to five pounds of weight loss within the first week of training. Results are individually based; you get what you put in.
Do I have to come to the five day camp, or are there other options available to me?
You may come to either our five day camp, Monday through Friday, or you may come to any other camp time, you pick your schedule! Furthermore, we also provide the option of a Flex-pass that allows you to come to any camp, anytime, based on how many sessions you choose. Finally, you may come to a different Boot Camp time if you miss one camp for any reason. We provide lots of flexibility to accommodate your schedule. Contact us for more details.
